AUTUMN BENEDETTI (she, her) LCSW, E-RYT, TCTSF
Somatic Healing, Yoga, Embodiment
Autumn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma-sensitive movement and somatic, body-based therapy. She loves guiding people towards realizing their potential, reclaiming their stories, creating self-sovereignty, and regulating their nervous systems. That is powerful and transformative.
She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with over two decades leading classes, workshops and retreats. Autumn will be guiding your daily yoga, breath-work and meditation classes, as well as offering somatic and embodied movement workshops to break free of old patterning and stuck ways of being in, and relating to, our bodies.
Expect to shed layers and reconnect with your inner power, purpose, and vitality.
Autumn will lead a Trauma Sensitive Yoga workshop for all participants, which includes CEUs for both Mental Health Providers and Yoga Instructors.
ALEX MUFSON, LCSW (she, her)
Human Design
1/3 Splenic Projector
A true bootstrap entrepreneur, Alex's latest project scaled zero to seven figures in under three years. She's taken all the risks (some of which definitely did not pan out!) so you don't have to.
Despite all her advanced clinical training, Alex realized you can do all the therapy in the world but if you are stuck in a soul-sucking job and in sick relationships, you will still hate your life. So now it's all about freeing people as fast as possible (Human Design really speeds it all up!) so we can all use our energy to do good in this world.
Alex is committed to business as a form of art and activism, offering disruptive ways to make money without centering profits--or being an asshole.
Alex is a feminist, a CEO, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who started her first business at three years old. It was imaginary, but she had the last remaining Wooly Mammoth, so it was also cool as hell.
KATIE KAPUGI, MA, LMHC, ATR, RYT (she, her)
Eco/Art Therapy, CEU Coordinator
Katy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Yoga Teacher, and Nationally Registered Art Therapist based in Washington state. Katie brings an abundance of curiosity and creativity to her work of helping others resource & reconnect to their heart center.
Katie's past as a biofeedback therapist created a fascination for polyvagal theory and the autonomic nervous system. She uses the lens of polyvagal theory with yoga, art therapy, eco-therapy, and mindfulness practices to create trauma informed care for the healing journey. She specializes in supporting adults experiencing chronic illness, chronic pain, neurodivergence, and complex trauma.
As Clinical Director, Vice President and Founder of the Seattle based nonprofit, Dream Big Wellness, and owner of Spira Counseling, Katie is dedicated to creating more access to art therapy and holistic wellness practices through culturally sensitive and inclusive practices. She has served as a Psychotherapist and Art Therapist facilitator and administrator at 5 retreats since May 2022 and continues to expand opportunities for art therapy and mental health continuing education training.
Katie will provide a workshop offering a meditation using the imagination matrix model, with an Eco Art Therapy reflection. CEUs are available for Mental Health Professionals.
RACHEL DUNCAN (she, her) MA, ATR-P, CFT (Candidate)
Money Healing
Rachel's skills include art therapy and financial therapy – She holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Art Therapy Specialization and certifications in Financial Social Work and the Trauma of Money Method TM.
The result? A well-rounded approach that addresses both your financial strategies and emotional health with information, community, and creativity.
Rachel's special skill is helping you untangle the complexities of money and face its emotional challenges with compassion and sometimes, a reality check.
Her financial healing workshop will resolve that part of you that "feels like a kid about money".
BONNIE WALCHUCK, MA, LMFT, ATR-BC (she, her)
Art Therapy
Bonnie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Nationally Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist based in Washington state. Bonnie brings extensive experience in therapeutic practices and clinical training, focusing on art therapy’s impact on emotional and psychological well-being. Bonnie loves the healing that can take place when we disconnect from busy life and land in nature.
She specializes in supporting adults experiencing cancer, medical trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, end of life, grief and loss, life transitions, and globally mobile populations. As Executive Director, President and Founder of the Seattle based nonprofit, Dream Big Wellness, Bonnie is dedicated to creating more access to art therapy and advancing the field through innovative nature-based and culturally sensitive practices. She has served as a Psychotherapist and Art Therapist facilitator at 15 retreats since May 2022 and continues to expand opportunities for art therapy and mental health continuing education training.
Important note:
This retreat is educational and for entertainment and leisure activities. While the facilitators/leaders are mental health professionals, they cannot provide mental health services to any retreat member.
We expect retreat participants to know their triggers and have a robust emotional and nervous system regulation practice for selfcare and respond to their own distress. All guests are expected to be responsible for their mental health while on retreat.
Joining the retreat does not constitute a therapist/client relationship. This retreat does not replace mental health care.

Common questions
Q: Can I split a tent with a partner or friend?
A: Yes! Each guest must register for the retreat on their own and pay separately. Look for the "Glamping Cabana, Double occupancy" option, and each person pays the full fee. Please email us to let us know who you're paired with. Each guest is expected to be a full participant in the retreat experience.
Q: Can I explore other towns and sites in Baja?
A: While on retreat we expect you stay on site at Yandara. Yandara is relatively remote, about 1 hour drive northwest of Cabo San Luca, and 45 minutes south of Todo Santos so leaving the site is a time and cost commitment. We encourage you to explore the surroundings before or after the retreat. Just let us know your travel plans as we need to plan for airport shuttles.
Q: Can I swim in the ocean?
A: The tide is too strong for swimming at Yandara. Please enjoy the sunsets and nature, but it is not safe to swim on this part of the peninsula. However, we will have a guided hike to a swim-safe beach one afternoon. There is a swimming pool at Yandara.
